New HBF chief executive Neil Jefferson and L&Q group chief executive Fiona Fletcher-Smith, chair of the G15, have joined the speaker line up for this year’s Housing Market Intelligence (HMI) Conference next month.
The Conference is set to analyse and debate the key issues facing the industry in this time of opportunities and challenges. HMI will look at the market, government policy, mortgages, finance, planning, housing associations and more.
In addition to Jefferson and Fletcher-Smith, HBF planning director Sam Stafford will address the conference, explaining and discussing the new government’s planning reforms.
Speakers will also include Lord Gavin Barwell who will look at the political outlook and the first months of the new government, while Santander Bank’s chief economist Frances Haque will talk mortgages and the market. HBF chairman Stewart Baseley will take an overview of the numerous challenges facing the industry and what the solutions might be.
David Smith, economics editor of The Sunday Times, Gráinne Gilmour, director of insights and research at Cluttons, and Matt Fleming, executive chairman of AF Oliver, will look at the economy, the market and the outlook from all directions.
