A powerful line up of speakers is set to analyse and dissect the UK new homes market at this year’s Housing Market Intelligence annual conference and report launch which will take place in London this autumn.
Sunday Times economics editor David Smith and Gráinne Gilmore, head of research at Zoopla, will give their thoughts on the economy and housing market while HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley will provide a strategic overview of the industry’s challenges. HBF planning director Sam Stafford will assess the planning landscape.
McCarthy Stone ceo John Tonkiss will look at innovation in the retirement space, while Barratt group sustainability director Bukky Bird will discuss the green agenda. NHBC ceo Steve Wood will give his views on the industry and Nigel Banks, research and development director at ilke Homes, will discuss the outlook for modern methods of construction.
The conference – which will be held on October 6 at Savoy Place - will be chaired by business broadcaster Simon Jack.
The conference also sees the launch of the annual Housing Market Intelligence Report which includes the Top 75 housebuilders listing, expert papers on key aspects of the industry, data, analysis and more.
