Hill enters jv for zero carbon, affordable homes

<p><span>Housebuilder Hill has entered a joint venture partnership with Bioregional Homes to deliver zero carbon, affordable homes for local communities.</span></p> <p><span>The jv will follow Bioregional Homes’ One Planet Living philosophy of building zero carbon homes using sustainable materials through modern methods of construction, within schemes set up for recycling, food growing and biodiversity.</span></p> <p><span>Bioregional Homes, established in 2018, is a subsidiary of Bioregional, a sustainable charity and social enterprise which has produced high profile sustainable schemes, including BedZED ecovillage in south London and the One Brighton scheme. Its One Planet Living framework has been used in real estate development worldwide.</span></p> <p><span>Under the Hill-Bioregional Homes partnership, the schemes will be a mix of open market housing and discounted market sale homes, allowing people to buy in their local area.
