Hill Group has achieved “record” turnover and profit for the second consecutive year, according to the housebuilder.
For the year ending March 31 2025, Hill reported revenues of £1,151.9 million and pre-tax profit of £90.5 million. It completed 2,811 new homes across its operations.
This compares to last year’s revenue of £1,145.9 million and a pre-tax profit of £70.1 million, for the 15 months ending March 31 2024.
It said its performance reflected the “continued strength and balance” of its diversified operations. Hill Residential’s sales rates improved during the final quarter of the reported year, at an average selling price of £613,000. The business entered its current financial year with 40% forward sales.
Hill Partnerships, delivering affordable housing on behalf of registered providers and local authorities, “outperformed expectations”. London and Special Projects experienced “high levels of activity” while activity in the northern and southern home counties increased during the year.
Hill’s entry into the Build to Rent (BTR) market also aided growth. It agreed contracts for 264 homes at Nexus, Stevenage, with a further 365 homes at Dagenham Green agreed in partnership with Peabody.
