Hill announces £300 million London land drive

<p><span>Hill Group has announced a £300 million land drive in London as the housebuilder looks to increase its presence in the capital as part of its growth plans.</span></p> <p><span>Hill currently has a secured pipeline of more than 1,700 homes across several sites in London. The business has also been expanding its land team since the start of the year.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>The land programme is part of the Essex-based company’s 2025 Plan to reach £1 billion turnover, delivering more than 4,000 homes per year.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>Presently, Hill has 6,100 homes under construction across London, the South East and South West, with a secured pipeline value of £5.3 billion across its private and affordable homes portfolio.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>The group has 14 active residential schemes in London, including the 580-home Fish Island Village, a canal-side regeneration scheme in Hackney Wick, and Harrow One - 204 apartments in Harrow-on-the-Hill.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>Andy Hill, Hill’s ceo, said: “London’s property market has proven to be very resilient, rebounding quickly after the ease of lockdown, and remains a prime area for investment and development.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>“With our successful 20-year track record of building large, residential and regeneration developments across the capital, we have the extensive experience needed to navigate the current market conditions. …
