Helen Moore, Orbit Homes’ group director, has joined the Home Builders Federation’s board.
Moore starts the year on HBF’s board and will attend her first board meeting on March 13.
As well as being group director of Orbit Homes, she is an executive team member of Orbit Group. The group is a housing association, with a portfolio of homes across the Midlands, the East and South of England.
Moore has enjoyed a long career in the housing sector, holding posts at private housebuilders Countryside and Crest Nicholson after graduating in business studies.
She established and ran her own sales and marketing consultancy, after which she was appointed managing director of restoration and conversion specialist City & Country Group.
In 2018, she became an executive director of Orbit Group, having been selected to grow its land-led, direct build capability.
HBF noted Moore’s passion for encouraging young people from diverse backgrounds to enter the industry, with her work with HBF and other stakeholders supporting this.
Moore is also a member of the Future Homes Leadership Council.
