HBF Wales launches Site Safety Charter

<p>HBF Wales and the Welsh government have launched a housebuilding <a href="https://www.hbf.co.uk/policy/coronavirus/Welsh-charter-safe-working-practice-covid-19/">Site Safety Charter</a> to aid the safe reopening of construction sites in the country, in line with health and safety guidance.</p><p>With housebuilders in Wales gradually returning to sites, the Charter demonstrates the industry’s commitment to safe working while Covid-19 remains in effect and the government’s support of the return to housebuilding and sales activity, HBF said.</p><p>It is intended that housebuilders will display the Charter on their sites to reinstate their safe working intentions as well as allay any concerns their workers, neighbours and customers may have.</p><p>HBF added that the Charter, available in Welsh and English, aligns with the Welsh government’s<i> Coronavirus Regulations</i> and <i>Moving home during the coronavirus pandemic guidance </i>and <i>Workplace guidance for employers and employees: COVID19</i>.
