<b></b>Geoff Ball, executive chairman of Cala, has agreed to take on the presidency of the House Builders Federation for a further year after Wilson Connolly design director John Weir was unable to take up the post &amp;“due to unforeseen personal circumstances&amp;”.<br>&amp;“I am pleased to be invited to continue the work we have started with HBF,&amp;” said Ball. &amp;“I believe the industry is being viewed more positively by government and other stakeholders and that the HBF is now seen as the voice for a single industry.&amp;” Laing Homes boss Steve Lidgate is the new vice president. <p></p><p></p>
