The Home Builders Federation has appointed Neil Jefferson as managing director. He will take up this newly created role in early 2020.
Jefferson is currently chief operating officer at leading warranty provider NHBC where he has held senior roles during more than 20 years. “This (experience) gives him a deep understanding of the home building sector,” said the HBF in a statement. “Neil is well known and respected by many in the industry and across government. He is also an experienced manager of people and processes with a proven track record of success. The role of managing director is newly created and Neil will be working with all of the existing management team to continue to deliver the best possible representation for HBF’s growing membership.”
Current executive chairman Stewart Baseley will continue in his existing role at HBF. Speaking today Baseley said: “We are delighted to announce that Neil will be joining HBF. He has huge industry experience and his appointment will further strengthen our management team as we look to ensure HBF is best placed to help the industry address a growing list of challenges.”
