HBF announces technical and planning appointments

<p>The Home Builders Federation (HBF) has appointed Rhodri Williams as its new technical and sustainability director and Rachel Danemann as regional planning manager, with both starting their roles early this month (February).</p> <p>Williams joins HBF from Vistry Partnerships West where he was head of technical. He has almost 25 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry, working in various technical roles with major developers including Kier Living, Barratt South Wales, Persimmon Wales and Westbury.</p> <p>Danemann was most recently Harborough District Council’s principal planning policy officer. She brings sold experience to the HBF and will represent the interest of members in planning matters across the Midlands and South West.</p> <p>On Williams’ appointment, HBF’s managing director Neil Jefferson, said: “This is a pivotal time for the homebuilding industry, so we’re really pleased to have Rhodri join us.
