GT Partnerships to build first Meridian Water homes

<p><span>Galliford Try Partnerships has been selected to deliver the first 725 homes of Enfield Council’s Meridian Water scheme in north London.</span></p> <p><span>GT Partnerships was chosen from four shortlisted companies to build the homes, with Enfield Council’s Cabinet deciding GT </span><span>was best suited to “deliver on value, quality, design and financial robustness”. </span></p><p><span></span></p><p><span>The firm will build the first phase of homes by 2022 which will include a “significant number” of affordable homes, located around the new Meridian Water train station due to open in May. The new homes will also benefit from new public squares, shops and leisure facilities.</span></p> <p><span>This phase is part of Enfield Council’s £6 billion scheme which will feature 10,000 homes and create 6,000 jobs as well as community facilities and road networks.</span></p> <p><span>GT Partnerships was chosen from a shortlist also comprising Redrow, L&amp;Q and Peabody</span><span>. A developer is now being sought for Meridian Two at Leeside Road.
