Churchill Living has selected ex-Cavanna Homes’ Grayham Tucker as its group divisional operations director (Southern), a newly created role to develop the retirement housebuilder’s presence across the south of England in line with its growth plans.
Tucker, who joins Churchill’s operations board, was most recently group managing director of Cavanna Homes, also a southern, family-run, five-star business. He has regional knowledge and leadership experience, also through his senior roles with national developers.
At Churchill, Tucker will lead both the South West and South East divisions, working alongside chairman and ceo Spencer McCarthy to guide all aspects of the Southern region’s operational activity.
His appointment comes as Churchill celebrates its 30th year in business. It recently opened its 200th development for the over 60s and in July dropped the word “retirement” from its title to emphasise its focus on “living”, offering “choice, independence and peace of mind for the over 60s”.
Tucker said: “I’m excited to be joining Churchill at a key time for the company, as we focus our sights on the huge potential to grow our presence across the south.
