Glendyne develops a great finish in Islington

Cembrit's Glendyne natural slates have been installed on a loft conversion project in Islington, London to create a stunning finish to a modern three storey property, the company says. The project highlights Glendyne's versatility and attractiveness by coping well with the many roof details and harmonising effectively with the surrounding location, Cembrit adds.<br> <br> The design made use of extensive lead work undertaken by a master craftsman continuing the theme of traditional materials and techniques, including the use of natural slates on the roof. Built by 4C Developments of Putney the project, Irving Mews, is a development of twenty seven properties built to a high specification. The roof demanded a slate that would be easy to work with and be of sufficient quality to contribute to the appearance of the building while performing to the highest standard.<br> <br> 4C chose Glendyne in conjunction with its client following an evaluation of the available products on the market.
