Galliard Homes chief executive officer Don O’Sullivan is stepping down from his post and will leave the business in March next year, the firm has announced.
Galliard said that O’Sullivan is leaving “to seek a new ceo role/challenge elsewhere with a volume housebuilder or major developer.”
O’ Sullivan joined Galliard Homes in April 2001 as contracts manager, being promoted to first construction director then managing director and latterly ceo.
Stephen Conway, executive chairman and co-founder of Galliard Homes, will be resuming the role of ceo in his place.
Darren Maguire will be appointed to the board of Galliard Homes as the new managing director of Galliard Construction having been construction director since 2017.
Amanda Dijk has been promoted to the position of Galliard Homes finance director having joined Galliard Homes in 2016 as the group financial controller.
“The Galliard of today is unrecognisable from the Galliard of 21 years ago and that is, in large part, due to Don’s dynamism and will be his legacy,” said Conway. “I will be forever grateful to him for the commitment and energy he has given to our business and we wish him well for the future.
