<p>Two former senior directors of McCarthy Stone have returned to the retirement housebuilder, with Kim Caldwell re-joining as group sales and marketing director and Brendon O’Neill named divisional managing director of the company’s Southern division.</p> <p><span>Caldwell worked at McStone from 2002 to 2018 in several roles, including marketing director and resales director. Since 2018, she has been Bellway Homes’ sales director.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>Caldwell will now, from June 12, oversee the firm’s group-wide sales and marketing activity, including delivering its brand strategy and developing McStone’s diversification into rental and other tenures.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>O’Neill was welcomed back on April 17 as Shane Paull’s successor; Paull took up his role </span><a href="http://www.house-builder.co.uk/news/mcstone-appoints-new-chief-operating-officer">as chief operating officer on April 3.</a><span> </span><span> </span><span>O’Neill was previously divisional md of McStone’s South East region and held similar roles at Barratt, Bovis and most recently Persimmon.</span></p><p></p> <p><span>He will manage the division’s </span><span>14 open and selling sites and its 13 sites in development, as well as buying 12 new sites a year. He will report to ceo John Tonkiss, with Caldwell reporting to Shane Paull.
