The Future Homes Hub has announced the first speakers for its Future Homes Conference, taking place in Westminster on November 13.
Baroness Sharon Taylor, parliamentary undersecretary of state for housing and local government UK House of Lords, will speak at the conference at the QEII Conference Centre. With decades of experience in local leadership and national government, Baroness Taylor is shaping policy to support housing growth, planning reform and net zero goals.
Also addressing conference delegates is David Thomas, ceo of Barratt Redrow and chair of the Future Homes Hub. Thomas is driving industry-wide collaboration to embed sustainability and innovation in new homes delivery.
And Mark Farmer, ceo of Cast Consultancy and lead reviewer of Transforming the Construction Workforce, will speak. Farmer is spearheading systemic reform across housing delivery, offsite construction and industry productivity.
The conference will be chaired by Evan Davis, BBC presenter and economist.
With the theme "One Plan for sustainable homes: Innovation, Scale and Value", the conference will unite leading voices across housing, government, finance and infrastructure to drive the delivery of a generation of affordable, sustainable homes.
