Isabel Hudson has become the first female chair of NHBC's 75-year history.<br> <br> Hudson brings three decades of experience in the insurance and finance sectors to the role. She has previously been executive director of the Prudential's UK business, and in other roles handled changing business environments on an international level.<br> <br> Hudson has been NHBC's deputy chair since May. Her appointment was announced at NHBC’s annual lunch last month, where Hudson addressed guests including Treasury minister Danny Alexander.<br> <br> "I am delighted to assume the role of NHBC chair and to be carrying on the excellent work of my predecessor, Sir John Carter," Hudson said.
