Fine tuning survey of satisfaction

<b></b><p></p><p><b><b>Field work for the second housebuilding National Customer Satisfaction Survey (NCSS) is now complete, and the results will be revealed in February. Mehban Chowdery, project manager at the Housing Forum, describes what changes and improvements have been made to the latest study</b></b><br><b>Following the successful launch of the first ever UK consumer survey amongst the largest 59 private housebuilders, the Housing Forum has again commissioned MORI to seek the opinions of nearly 10,000 owners of newly built homes. </b><br>Only those housebuilders with a sales output of more than 300 units per annum are included in the survey. </p><p> Telephone interviewing took place in September and October, and the headline results are due to be presented at the Housing Forum&amp;’s conference next February.</p><p><b><b>Key improvements</b></b><br>Over the past year the Housing Forum has been encouraged by the helpful feedback received both from participating housebuilders and consumer bodies alike. The initiative has been widely welcomed and many have provided constructive comment on the scope for further improvement.</p><p>The specialist working party, chaired by Martin Donohue, chief executive of Westbury, reconvened to give careful consideration on repeating the survey, and the group included leading representatives from MORI, Department of Trade &amp;&amp; Industry, housebuilders, Consumers Association, NHBC and …
