Elivia Homes acquires Millwood Designer Homes

<p>Elivia Homes has acquired Millwood Designer Homes as part of the SME’s plans to expand across south east England.</p> <p>The housebuilder, which currently has homes in Surrey, West Sussex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, has bought Kent-based Millwood Designer Homes from its majority shareholder Places for People Group. This will allow Elivia Homes to move into East Sussex and Kent, creating a third region for the company. </p> <p>Elivia said that “over time”, Millwood’s properties would rebrand to Elivia Homes.</p> <p>The announcement follows a busy year for Elivia, the former Vanderbilt Homes and Crayfern Homes, which rebranded to its new name in April 2022, unifying the two companies. The following month, the business was acquired by funds advised by Octopus Investments, providing “significant growth funding”. It was previously majority owned by Cheyne Capital Management.</p> <p>Elivia said that in just over six months the group's executive team had raised “further acquisition capital” through Octopus, reflecting the “confidence and long-term commitment” of shareholders.
