Easy Stair has been shortlisted for Best Site Product in the Housebuilder Product Awards 2013. The winner will be announced at the new awards ceremony to be held at Edgbaston on June 20.<br> <br> Easy Stair is a temporary staircase which Safety Platforms claims makes life on site much easier by reducing the need to climb up and down ladders prior to the installation of the finished stairs.<br> <br> If the finished stairs cannot be installed due to the building not being watertight, or it is desirable to leave installation until later in the project to prevent damage, Safety Platforms says that Easy Stair is the solution.<br> <br> The company also explains that safety is improved by removing the need for site personnel to climb ladders to upper floors whilst carrying tools or materials for tasks such as first fix joinery, window installation and insulation.<br> <br> Weighing 25kg, the aluminium stair unit is "easily lifted" into position.<br> <br> <a href="http://www.safetyplatforms.co.uk">www.safetyplatforms.co.uk</a>
