For those partial to home technology as well as green living, Green House could be a tempting prospect. <br> <br> Launched in south Leeds in October and generating a good amount of local interest, the 166-apartment development comprising part conversion and part new build elements, combines solar panels, wind turbines, ground source heating and cooling and a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system with TV, audio and monitoring gadgetry. There is also work space, a gym, a deli café and landscaped gardens as well as allotments to sit alongside all of the technology. <br> <br> This hi-tech development is the brainchild of the privately owned and local Citu whose approach to sustainability goes beyond simple box-ticking to champion nature, design and community, the small developer says.
