David Montague appointed chair of Joseph Homes

<p>Joseph Homes has appointed former L&amp;Q ceo David Montague as its chair.</p> <p>Montague, who left the housing association in January after 33 years’ service and 13 as ceo, assumes his position as the small developer’s chair immediately to “provide stewardship and governance as the business continues to deliver on its diversifying portfolio,” the London-based business said.</p> <p>The company said Montague’s appointment represented a “natural progression” in its next phase, with the company drawn towards recruiting those “well versed” in social change who had used this to “make a difference” to the housebuilding industry, in keeping with the Joseph Homes Live Well manifesto which guides the business.</p> <p>Joseph Rajah, Joseph Homes’ founder and ceo, said: “The appointment of David was an immediate and obvious choice.
