Dark antique: the colour of choice

Rosemary clay tiles from Redland were specified in the Dark Antique colour when a new roof was installed to a gated property in Wentworth, Surrey.<br> <br> The Rosemary clay plain tile provided a cost effective replacement for the hand made tiles originally on the roof, and the Dark Antique colour was the choice of the home owner. While this colour has been an option within the Rosemary range for more than four years, it has only been manufactured in England since the start of 2011, making it easier for contractors to access stock quickly.<br> <br> Dark Antique is proving to be one of the most popular of the eight colour options in the Rosemary Classic range, capitalising on a trend towards darker, weathered-looking tiles that are particularly popular in the south east of the UK. The product combines this aged aesthetic with the reliability and consistency of new factory-produced tile.<br> <br>
