Daikin Altherma split air-water heat pump is now available in a new floor standing version, allowing the hot water cylinder to be mounted on top of the hydrobox. The key benefits of this system, Daikin explains, is that it provides simplified installation as all components are preassembled, therefore drastically reducing the time taken to install. It has a small footprint, making it suitable even where space is at a premium, and achieves domestic hot water cylinder temperatures of 60°C with support from a built-in electric heater.
