Countryside Properties to lead on £55m Radcliffe makeover

Bury metropolitan borough council has chosen Countryside Properties to head up a £55 million mixed-use regeneration scheme in Radcliffe’s town centre. The developer will work with King Sturge and UK Land and Property to transform the Sun Quarter, providing 300 apartments, including 22 two-bedroom duplex apartments, along with 55,000sq ft of retail space and affordable housing, public art and a new waterside café gallery. “Our aim is to create an exciting new mixed-use town centre community with the emphasis on quality open spaces, public realm and connections back into the heart of Bury,”said Countryside’s regeneration director Barry Holmes
