<p><span>Countryside has been chosen as a joint venture partner for the £124 million next phase of the regeneration of Bracknell town centre.</span></p> <p><span>The mixed tenure developer has entered into a partnership with Bracknell Forest Council which will initially concentrate on the redevelopment of three council-owned sites at Market Street, Jubilee Gardens and Coopers Hill. </span></p> <p><span>These sites could potentially deliver around 400 homes, Countryside said, up to 35% of which will be affordable. Other features include a new health centre, restaurant, gym, office space, community space and public art.</span><span> </span></p> <p><span>Countryside said that the regeneration of the three town centre sites would “deliver significant economic value to the borough overall”, with the council reinvesting its share of the development proceeds into the borough’s front line services. The partnership would also focus on the health and wellbeing of residents and the wider community, the developer added. </span></p><p><span>The first planning applications will be submitted in early 2021 with the aim to begin construction later in the year.</span></p> <p><span>Under the joint venture, Countryside will also help the council team with masterplanning and delivering other aspects of town centre development including residential, community, employment, leisure and public open space.</span></p> <p><span>The long term rejuvenation of …
