Corner house benefits from Kingspan Kooltherm K12

Kingspan Kooltherm K12 Framing Board provided the ideal solution for architect Sam Stork during the construction of her own personal project – the £250,000<br> Corner House situated on the edge of the New Forest, Kingspan says. With a strong focus on materials and energy in use, the design meets the requirements for level four of the Code for Sustainable Homes.<br> <br> <br> Sam Stork comments: "There were four main requirements for the wall insulation; its thermal conductivity, fire performance, Green Guide rating for the Code and finally product durability. Kingspan Kooltherm K12 Framing Board was the only product to achieve all four of these aims and we were happy that it was a product manufactured in the UK."<br> <br> <br> Kingspan Kooltherm K12 Framing Board has been designed specifically for use with timber frame and steel frame wall constructions. Kingspan says it is ideal for both new build and refurbishment projects, and can be used between studs or as an insulating sheathing whilst providing a thermal conductivity as low as 0.020.<br> <br>
