Connells Group has completed the acquisition of Countrywide, solidifying its position as the UK’s largest estate agency and property services provider.
The deal will see Countrywide continue to operate in the same way, trading under its existing brands and maintaining its branch network, with Connells Group delivering investment in technology and people. Countrywide will also keep its surveying and asset management businesses which will continue to trade as separate entities.
Led by Connells group ceo David Livesey, the combined group will see management from both companies come together and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Countrywide “and deliver the integration activity to drive a rapid turnaround of the business” the firm says.
