CMS Acoustics supports Linden Homes to achieve sustainable sound control

CMS Acoustics has delivered a full on-site technical support service to ensure Regupol 4515 Multi, a high performance and sustainable acoustic underlay, exceeded Part E standards at SPLASH, a new residential complex in Southampton. <br> <br> Developer Linden Homes required a sustainable acoustic floor treatment that would exceed Part E regulations while allowing a flexible and contemporary interior design. <br> <br> A versatile acoustic underlay, Regupol 4515 Multi was selected for its ability to deliver sound attenuation under any floor finish. The premium PUR foam and cork compound has been shown to exceed Part E regulations, offering impact sound insulation of up to 34dB when used with carpet. At SPLASH, Linden Homes installed 8,000 sq m of 4.5mm Regupol 4515 Multi to all one, two and three bedroom apartments under ceramic tile and carpet finishes. <br> <br>
