CIB named PR agency of the year at CMAs

<p><span>CIB was named PR agency of the year at this year's Construction Marketing Awards.</span></p><p><span>Held at the Hilton London Bankside, the CMAs – in their 19<span>th</span> year - are supported by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group (CIMCIG) and showcase excellence in construction marketing and business development.</span></p><p><span>The judges said that for CIB, based in Leatherhead, Surrey, 2018/19 had been “an incredible year – a real team effort and CIB’s continued success is a credit to the thirst for knowledge, enthusiasm, attention to detail and creativity demonstrated by the 16-strong team.” This was all achieved against a backdrop of market uncertainty, the judging panel noted.</span></p><p><span>Refresh PR scooped Small agency of the year. The company, established in 2009, had a particularly strong year in 2018/19, the judges said, growing turnover from its construction clients. “These guys walk and talk like a much larger agency.”</span></p><p><span>Refresh’s client Uponor was handed the Best low budget campaign prize. Refresh PR created a “compelling” PR story driven by a whitepaper – <i>The Sky’s the Limit</i>.</span></p><p><span>A Proctor Group won the Best big budget campaign award for the A Proctor Group Collection 2019 campaign.
