The Church Commissioners for England has submitted a planning application for up to 150 homes in Fiskerton, Lincolnshire.

The body, which administers the property assets of the Church of England, has put forward plans for a community featuring 25% affordable housing in line with the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan. The scheme, which the Commissioners said would support existing services and facilities in Fiskerton and surrounding areas, will include “substantial” open space and a circular walkway around the site, tying into existing rights of way. Leeds-based Edward Architecture has designed the masterplan according to the principles of Secured by Design Homes 2024 guidelines.

The Commissioners said all its homes would be delivered in line with the Archbishops’ Commission’s vision for “sustainable, safe, stable, sociable and satisfying housing”.
