Cembrit launches roofing book

Cembrit has launched a case study book showcasing the "versatility and beauty" of Glendyne slate.<br> <br> Cembrit says that the 48-page guide should act as a resource for architects, specifiers and contractors working on natural slate roofing projects. Glendyne is a strong, consistent, easy-to-work and durable natural slate, the company explains. It has gained a reputation as a replacement for blue/grey Welsh slate – particularly the unobtainable Ffestiniog.<br> <br> The new case study book describes how Glendyne has been used to solve roofing problems and includes photography on how this material can be used to enhance a variety of building types.<br> <br> "Over the years Glendyne has demonstrated that it is the perfect natural slate for the UK market," says Ged Ferris, marketing manager at Cembrit.
