To help maximise saleable space whilst meeting U-value targets, Orion Homes has specified more than 3,000m2 of Celotex PL4000 PIR insulation bonded-to-tapered-edge plasterboard for its new Sunnydale Gardens housing development in West Yorkshire. Celotex PL4000 is a thermal insulation board where the PIR insulation is bonded to 12.5mm tapered edge plasterboard. <br><br>Offering a lambda value of 0.022, Ofgem approval and BBA certification, this product offers high levels of thermal efficiency, Celotex claims, and can be installed internally using direct bond or mechanical fix techniques for maximum flexibility and installation speed for new build and refurbishment projects.
