Paul Moran has become Cavanna Homes’ new group managing director.
From the end of September, Moran will head the 101-year-old family business in its second century of trading in the South West. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the housebuilding sector; most recently he was Vistry’s South West regional managing director.
Moran has also been md for Barratt David Wilson (Exeter), Bovis Homes (South East), and Bett Homes in Scotland.
He takes over from previous group md Grayham Tucker who left the SME housebuilder in the summer. Moran will be supported by group finance director Scott Murray and guided by a board of non-executive directors which is chaired by former Cavanna md Keith Miller. The board represents the interests of the Cavanna family shareholders.
Moran said: “I’m proud to be joining Cavanna Homes which has an excellent reputation as one of the South West’s largest independent home builders and I very much look forward to building on the foundations of its success which were established back in 1923 in Torquay.
