Catnic produces special lintels for bridle path

A set of ten triangular shaped lintels have been fabricated to special order by Catnic for the construction of a large detached residential property in a beautiful semi-rural location, near the River Avon.<br> <br> The special lintels were required to meet a structural challenge, a series of striking triangular windows enhancing the modern style of the property's architecture.<br> <br> Bridle Path at Welford-on-Avon is a six-bedroom home by Steelhead Developments, valued at £2.8 million.<br> <br> While the outside elevations to Bridle Path features a mixture of coursed natural stone and render, the wall zone behind contains a fully filled 100mm cavity and a 150mm blockwork inner leaf. The energy efficiency of this wider than standard wall construction is aided by the incorporation of insulation within Catnic steel lintels.<br> <br> Mike Bishop, Steelhead Developments' md said: "Catnic are always our first choice as we know we can get any one-off sizes that are required, as well as using standard sizes for all the other door and window openings."<br> <br>
