Catalyst and Hill submit plans for up to 995 Haringey homes

<p>Catalyst Housing and Hill have submitted a hybrid planning application for a mixed-use scheme, including up to 995 new homes on a site adjacent to St Ann’s Hospital in South Tottenham.</p> <p>The development’s homes, when approved, will be 60% affordable. The site will also feature community-led housing, new and enhanced green spaces, shops and commercial units including affordable workspaces. The partnership will also retain and restore several historic hospital buildings.</p> <p>The mayor of London selected Catalyst to develop the former St Ann’s Hospital site in late 2020, after purchasing the site with some of his £250 million Land Fund. The fund was purposed to acquire land to deliver more affordable homes for Londoners.</p> <p>Catalyst and its development partner Hill have submitted their planning application to Haringey Council after more than a year of consultation with the local community. This included a festival which more than 300 people attended, the companies said.</p> <p>The hybrid application comprises detailed plans for 239 homes within phase one at the north west of the site. There are outline plans for an additional 756 homes over future phases. The current masterplan is for 971 homes but the application is for up to 995 “as future phases …
