Callcutt to address industry on future challenges

<p>John Callcutt, chief executive of English Partnerships, will address the industry on the challenges ahead, as the government reviews its housing and regeneration delivery functions.</p> <p>At the Housing Market Intelligence conference on October 10, Callcutt is expected to tell housebuilders how they can better work with government as the DCLG’s review ushers in a new era.</p> <p>He said: “This is a great opportunity to explain the important role developers play in the work of housing delivery. Together, and with the help of our other partners, we can make a real difference to housing supply in this country by providing affordable, quality homes.”</p> <p>This year’s high-level HMI conference will focus on future market trends. Other speakers include housing minister Yvette Cooper (TBC) and HBF chief executive Stewart Baseley.</p> <p>It takes place at the annual two-day Housebuilding 2006 exhibition, which will be held at London’s Business Design Centre on October 10 and 11.</p>
