CABE chairman steps down

CABE chairman Sir Stuart Lipton has announced his decision to step down, following five years in the role. "It has always been my intention to step down once the appointment of CABE's new chief executive, Richard Simmons was announced," said Lipton. "I am glad to have been of service in chairning CABE thorugh its first five years and I have received tremendous support from my colleagues and governnent. "I have no doubt that CABE will fulfill its mission of making this country a world leader int he design of public and private buildings and places."
