Buyers queue up for Urban Splash

<p>Buyers queued overnight before snapping up all 108 “upside down” Urban Splash homes in Salford in just two and a half hours, highlighting the demand for quality affordable housing. The developer pitched an army style tent as people began queuing outside the sales centre three days before the homes went on the market. Once the doors opened the twobedroom terraced homes at Chimney Pot Park in Salford were bought at a rate of one every 83 seconds. <br><br>Each home has two bedrooms on the ground floor with the main living spaces on the first floor leading to a balcony and terrace. They are priced at £99,500 to £146,000.</p>
