Business Lending Group expands geographic focus Business Lending Group (BLG), the residential development finance lender, has widened its geographic lending focus.<br> <br> The lender - which specialises in providing loans to housebuilders in London and the south east of England - says that during one recent week, one of the three loans that BLG funded was for a development scheme in Somerset. And several of the loans due to close over the summer are for developments further afield.<br> <br> BLG says that it has received a surge of new business applications from intermediaries and property developers over the past three months, more than double the amount of the same period in 2012.
