Bloor signs new homes deal with Seashell

<p><span>Bloor Homes has agreed a deal with Seashell Trust to build homes on land in Cheadle Hulme featuring a school for children and young people with profound special needs.</span></p> <p><span>The land sale to Bloor will allow Seashell Trust, a national charity supporting children and young adults with complex learning disabilities, to redevelop the school and campus.</span></p> <p><span>Bloor will deliver 325 new homes, with other features including sporting facilities which will be available to the local community. The housebuilder will consult on the specific details of the homes “in the coming weeks”.</span></p> <p><span>Seashell said it secured planning permission for the scheme in Stockport, Greater Manchester, in May following an appeal to the housing secretary.</span></p> <p><span>Rhys Nicholson, Bloor Homes’ regional md, said: “This land acquisition is great news for Bloor Homes and we are delighted to be associated with such a worthy project as the Trust’s essential redevelopment.</span></p><p><span></span></p> <p><span>“Cheadle Hulme is a highly desirable residential area and a natural fit for Bloor Homes’ expanding portfolio of high-quality family homes in first rate locations.
