Berkeley sees 25% reservation boost

<p>Berkeley Group has reported reservations up 25% year on year in the period November 2010 to February 2011. The firm has seen visitor numbers stay steady in the period, with the increase in reservations stemming from the higher number of outlets from which Berkeley is now operating .</p> <p>Forward sales exceed £800 million, and the firm is investing in land, buying 1,000 plots on eight new sites in the period, bringing the total for the year to 3,500 plots on 21 sites. These include a site in the City of London with existing planning permission for 750 homes, a 337 bed hotel, 601 student bedrooms and 100,000 sq ft of commercial space.</p>
