The BBC’s planned 2010 move to Salford, including 1,500 jobs, is expected to invigorate the area’s housing market, boosting demand for high quality new homes. City Lofts plans to offer new residents apartments at its Salford Quays development with just a 5% deposit along with a guaranteed rental yield for two years, in partnership with brokers Mortgage Q. The new BBC centre will be built on a 200 acre site close to the Lowry arts centre (pictured) and Imperial War Museum. Andy Hurst, sales and marketing director of City Lofts Group said: “The BBC’s move will accelerate the pace of Salford’s regeneration and will have a positive impact on both the local area and its property market. We are offering an excellent deal to potential clients by allowing those with a smaller deposit than usual the option of buying a property.” <br>
