Baseley is new HfH chairman

Stewart Baseley, executive chairman of the Home Builders Federation, has been appointed chairman of Habitat for Humanity's board of directors.<br> <br> He joined the housing charity's board in 2007 supporting the charity's work carried out at home and abroad. Habitat for Humanity is an international housing charity established in 1976, which operates in more than 80 countries worldwide. It aims to eradicate poverty housing and homelessness.<br> <br> Baseley said: "I am delighted to be taking on the baton from Michael (Kirkwood) and hope to be able to continue his great work. Habitat for Humanity has a fantastic range of programmes around the world aimed at helping mobilise and support local communities in accessing decent housing."<br> <br>
