Barratt group sustainability director Bukky Bird has joined the line up of speakers at this year’s Housing Market Intelligence conference which will be held online on Monday November 16.
Bird joined Barratt from Tesco at the beginning of the year, and in June Barratt announced new carbon emissions targets as part of its drive "to become the country's leading national sustainable housebuilder". The industry faces the challenge of hitting new levels of sustainability in the next few years.
Bird joins a strong line up of speakers which includes housing minister Chris Pincher. They will be joined by Sunday Times economics editor David Smith, HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley, Zoopla head of research Gráinne Gilmore and HBF director of planning Andrew Whitaker. Business journalist Simon Jack will chair the conference.
All delegates will receive the popular Housing Market Intelligence report – which includes the top 75 housebuilders and key information on all the main issues that impact the new homes sector – in digital format.
HMI has, over the past 18 years, become the leading forum for discussion, analysis and dissection of industry policy and developments as well as the home of key information provision for the sector.
