Barratt Redrow is “well placed” to deliver its expected housing volumes this year, with the merged business progressing well with both cost and revenue synergies, the housebuilder said today (April 16).
In a trading update covering the 13-week period from December 30 2024 to March 30 2025, the enlarged business said it remained set to achieve total home completions of between 16,800 and 17,200 for its full year ending June 2025.
Barratt Redrow declared a “solid private reservation performance” over the reporting period which was slightly ahead of the equivalent period of last year, at 0.62 reservations per active sales outlet per week.
But including private rented sector and other multi-unit sales, this was 3.1% lower at 0.63, compared to the aggregated Barratt and Redrow performance in 2024. This reflected reduced activity in these sectors.
During the 13 weeks, Barratt Redrow delivered 3,717 total home completions against 2024’s 3,662 aggregated result. This brings total home completions in its current financial year to 10,563 homes (2024: 11,439).
