Barratt joins forces with English Chamber Orchestra

<p>Barratt and the English Chamber Orchestra (ECO) have joined forces to bring musical education projects into schools and local communities.</p> <p>Through its new charitable foundation, the volume housebuilder has launched a £100,000 partnership with the ECO, one of the world’s leading chamber orchestras.</p> <p>In its five decades, the ECO has recorded more than 1,500 works and played with the world’s greatest musicians. It aims to build upon its tradition of nurturing new talent, focusing on British music and musicianship. </p> <p>Barratt said its new partnership with ECO would kickstart the orchestra’s Close Encounters programme, allowing it to deliver <span style="color:black;background:white;mso-ansi-language: EN-US">bespoke musical outreach projects</span><span style="color:black; background:white;mso-ansi-language:DE"> to </span><span style="color:black;background:white;mso-ansi-language:EN-US">schools and community settings</span><span style="color:black;background:white; mso-ansi-language:DE"> </span><span style="color:black; background:white;mso-ansi-language:EN-US">across the UK. This includes collaborations with some of the other charities the housebuilder supports. </span></p> <p><span style="color:black; background:white;mso-ansi-language:EN-US">The partnership will formally launch during ECO’s next concert, to be <a href="https://www.tickettailor.com/events/englishchamberorchestra/477989">streamed</a> on April 2 as part of the </span><i>Live From London Spring Festival.</i></p> <p><span style="color:black; background:white;mso-ansi-language:EN-US">In 2022, the partnership will hold a charity gala concert to support NHS Charities Together.
