Banner Homes staff donate salary in the name of charity

Following several months of fundraising, staff from Banner Homes recently made a special trip to their Boundary Place development in Edgware to present Cancer Research UK with a cheque worth £2,012. The money was donated by staff direct from their pay packets throughout 2012 to celebrate the year that brought Britain the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games and the Diamond Jubilee.<br> <br> Patricia Bernard, group HR manager at Banner Homes comments: "Fundraising and the local community has always been important to Banner Homes and its staff but last year, encouraged by the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we decided to take on a special initiative to raise £2,012 for charity.<br> <br> "Staff were entered into a daily draw to win vouchers for sports equipment and to nominate a charity to receive the money raised.
