Baker Estates marks fifth anniversary

<p>Baker Estates is celebrating its fifth anniversary this month, with the south west business selling more than 500 homes since 2017.</p> <p>The small housebuilder, <span>chaired by Vistry Group’s Greg Fitzgerald</span> <span>and</span> headquartered in Newton Abbot, has 1,200 units with planning permission in its pipeline across its region. </p> <p>It now employs more than 60 staff and more than 250 subcontractors daily across all its schemes and is currently selling on six developments with another eight in construction and planning. </p> <p>Baker Estates said it had become known for reinventing the bungalow, with its hybrid “barngalow” offering futureproof, flexible living to older buyers while pushing design boundaries.</p> <p>It has begun building its flagship Little Cotton Farm scheme in Dartmouth, consisting of 450 homes to be delivered over six years. </p> <p>And, showing its commitment to local communities, the housebuilder is sponsoring youth sports teams in every town in which it builds.
