Award winning garden rooms by Mumford & Wood

An orangery designed by Mumford & Wood Garden Rooms, the award-winning manufacturer of bespoke timber windows, doors and conservatories, has been incorporated into the remodelling of a family home in Essex.

The 15-year old mock-Tudor house was completely redesigned by main design and build contractor Obeney Construction of Loughton, Essex, a family run business and developer of luxurious homes throughout south east England. In the new design, which involved removal of the front façade and a very large extension to the rear of the property, a Mumford & Wood Garden Room that overlooks secluded and mature gardens has been designed into the project.

Mumford & Wood’s traditional-style Conservation casements were specified throughout the three-floor property. A robust Mumford & Wood entrance door with fixed sidelights, and overhead the iconic arched Georgian window for which the company is renowned, together create a dramatic, light-filled atrium hall spanning the two-storey height.

The build project was already underway when Mumford & Wood launched the Garden Rooms concept, a totally bespoke supply-only facility for developers.

www.mumfordwood.com or enter E0128 on the reader enquiry card
